About the role and team
Taxi is a multi-billion dollar business line for Uber, and a key priority for the Mobility business. Incorporating Taxi Products into the Uber platform is a crucial part of our vision to be the single solution for all mobility needs. You will join the program team that manages the Taxi portfolio across EMEA.
We are seeking an Regional Operations Manager to join the EMEA Central Operations (Taxi) team. This team is responsible for partnering with both global and local teams to shape product strategy, champion EMEA market needs, and ensure seamless product rollouts that maximise value across the region.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in aligning global priorities with EMEA-specific market needs, ensuring that global product strategies are tailored for success in local markets. You will play a key role in developing and leading our growth strategy for Taxi across EMEA.
You will work closely with a broad set of cross-functional partners across Product, Local Ops, Tax, Legal, Data Science, CRM, Performance Marketing teams and more.

What you’ll do
You will join the program team that manages the Taxi portfolio across EMEA. As a Central Operations Manager for Taxi, you will ensure that the Program delivers against its ambitious targets and contributes to overall revenue and user growth for Uber.
- Understand key trends and behaviours to discover the best opportunities for growth and improved reliability in Taxi. Work with local operations teams and Product to launch and optimise said levers & to ensure that best practices are being adopted across the region.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (product, marketing, finance) to facilitate Taxi business goals and regional requirements
- Own Program Data management tools, build, maintain and scale data dashboards to service both the program and the overall mobility organisation
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in technology/consulting/or other fast-paced operational environments. Experience working with Product on feature launches, etc. is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills: You'll have experience dealing with complex data sets using Gsheet, Excel, SQL; validating insights and synthesising recommendations.
- Project management skills: You have a proven understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can implement cross-functional projects. You are process-driven & can convert ambiguous business requirements into structured business processes with standard operating procedures.
- Good communication and collaboration skills: You are good at working with diverse teams, understanding different perspectives and building solutions together.
- Strategic Mindset: You are comfortable in the detail, but are also able to see the bigger picture and pivot strategically as the environment around you changes

- Adaptability and Innovation: A proactive mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to swiftly adapt to changing priorities and market conditions. You continuously seek out opportunities to innovate and improve processes.
- See the forest & trees: Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering the day to day while defining and leading the future direction. Ability to translate strategies into detailed execution plans and to take them to its desired outcomes.
- Bonus: Experience in central or local operations, particularly in a Growth or Marketplace role is a strong plus.
