The ASE PMO drives program delivery excellence through process innovation, standards, data, and technology - building efficiency and organizational momentum across ASE Programs.
Description
We're looking for a PMO Program Manager to drive program oversight, release and information management, and change enablement. You'll sit at the intersection of people, process, and technology — and play a defining role in how AI-powered tools and practices reshape how our teams plan, communicate, and ship software.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve core PM process documentation, templates, and integrated tools aligned with ASE Program Management priorities
- Drive PMO standards adoption through targeted communications, training, and engagement programs that inspire lasting behavioral change — not just awareness
- Partner with ASE Program and Engineering leads to proactively align ASE and partner schedules
- Define and standardize processes for feature demos, release readiness reviews, and executive status meetings
- Maintain accurate feature release calendars and milestone schedules across tools, documentation, and communications in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Serve as a trusted PMO partner to Software Engineering (SWE), Product, and Platform teams — deeply understanding development cycles and constraints to ensure program planning reflects engineering reality
- Build and maintain feature and bug reporting cadences to track release quality and convergence progress
- Drive a PMO communication plan keeping the org current on process/tooling changes, best practices, milestones, and program priorities
- Identify, evaluate, and champion AI-powered tools and workflows that improve how PMO and ASE program teams plan, document, and deliver
- Translate AI capabilities into practical, accessible standards — driving guidance, experimentation, and LLM-based tool adoption across the organization
- Act as a change agent for AI fluency, helping teams confidently integrate AI into daily program work
- Lead structured change management for PMO-driven initiatives across a large, globally distributed org — assessing readiness, identifying adoption risks, designing interventions, and measuring impact
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of program management experience in cross-functional software engineering environments
- Demonstrated AI fluency: understands concepts, terminology, and practical applications; proven ability to apply AI to improve program workflows and team productivity
- Experienced in change management principles — stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, adoption measurement — with a track record of driving sustainable behavioral change at scale
- Experienced with knowledge management systems, bug tracking, and PM reporting tools; proven ability to drive adoption of standardized processes and data elements for scale efficiencies
- Track record of building and sustaining communities within large organizations — programs, events, and feedback loops that drive shared hands-on learning and cultural adoption
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to distill complexity for any audience
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships across all levels, including engineering and quality organizations
- Skilled at influencing without authority in complex, matrixed environments
- Anticipates leadership and organizational needs; course-corrects with confidence and discretion
- Strong consultative problem-solver — brings structure to ambiguity and communicates guidance clearly and succinctly
- Strong technical aptitude; self-directed learner who thrives on rapid experimentation with emerging tools
- High professionalism; operates autonomously and handles sensitive information with integrity
- PMP certification a plus
- Preferred tools: Confluence, Radar, Keynote, Slack, Final Cut Pro/iMovie, Photoshop, basic HTML and AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent)
