Product Manager - Technical, International Preferences
The International Preferences (IP) team is responsible for the Customer Experience (CX) for Language of Preference (LoP) and Currency of Preference (CoP) selection on the Amazon retail store, as well as building foundational components for storing and vending LoP/CoP data to other engineering teams. We provide the CX for store selection in the mobile app (ex: switching from US to Canada store), and drive LoP expansion launches in the EU. Our mission is to make the CX for customers shopping in alternative languages or currencies as friction-less, intuitive and consistent as possible.
As a Senior Product Manager-Tech, you will help build a product roadmap and a coherent customer experience across an array of applications. You will work closely with other software engineering teams, program managers, user experience designers, business intelligence engineers, business teams, and with other internal Amazon product stakeholders across the company, as well as with IP’s external network of partners & customers. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and who is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of customers and stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences. We’re looking for customer obsessed PMTs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers and demonstrate a high degree of product ownership.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product roadmap and execution plan
- Define the long-term strategy and vision for customers using LoP and CoP
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities
- Analyze market trends & customer feedback and usage metrics to identify pain points and feature improvement opportunities
- Build innovative concepts and successfully champion them through senior management and other teams
- Drive requirement definition and design
- Define and own the business metrics and KPIs for our products and services
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
