Real-Time Communication Events and Meetings Team

Real-Time Communication Events and Meetings Team is looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of intelligent, secure, and reliable real-time Meetings and Events experiences.

Our team is the backbone platform that powers real-time meetings and events experiences for Microsoft Teams users at global scale. We build the core capabilities and platform investments that enable seamless collaboration across meetings and events scenarios, and we partner broadly across M365 and Microsoft to bring these experiences to life.

We work closely with teams across Teams Core, Teams CMD (Calling, Meetings, and Devices), MSAI, ACS and SoX teams, enabling differentiated experiences including Copilot and Facilitator experiences within online meetings/events. We also build and drive the right set of controls, access, and protections that help keep real-time communication trustworthy and secure.

As a PM on this team, you will work with Teams customers, partner PMs, engineering, applied scientists, researchers, and marketing to deliver innovation in the meetings and events experiences—with a strong focus on AI-powered experiences, platform fundamentals, and responsible deployment across commercial and Sovereign clouds.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Identify and define AI-driven opportunities in meetings and events (e.g., Copilot/facilitator-enabling platform capabilities), translating customer and partner needs into scalable platform investments.

  • Support, plan and evolve existing features while incubating innovation, balancing near-term execution with long-term strategy.

  • Partner across Teams Core, Teams CMD, MSAI, and other Microsoft organizations to align roadmaps, define integration points, and deliver end-to-end user value.

  • Define product requirements, scenarios, and success metrics for new platform capabilities, with a strong focus on customer impact, adoption, reliability, and performance.

  • Drive execution across multiple teams by influencing without authority, unblocking dependencies, and ensuring clarity of goals and deliverables.
