As a Product Engineer, you'll analyze product failures in the field and collaborate with R&D and repair centers to identify root causes and enhance product performance. You'll develop quick debugging methods, support repair partners through technical training, and create documentation to streamline repair processes. Your role includes ensuring high-quality repair outputs, implementing new product introductions, and providing on-site technical support as needed. You'll leverage your analytical skills in a fast-paced environment to drive continuous improvements in both testing and repair efficiencies, ultimately contributing to Nokia's commitment to quality and innovation in telecommunications.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications
  • 5 plus years of experience in the Telecom industry
  • Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting electronic systems
  • Familiarity with test equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-To-Have:

  • Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Leadership and team development capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product failures in the field and network to determine root causes of performance degradation.
  • Collaborate with R&D product lines and repair centers to support resolution processes.
  • Develop and implement quick debugging methodologies for repair engineers.
  • Provide technical training to repair partners on system operation, diagnosis, and test development.
  • Create process maps, technical documentation, and training materials for new product repairs.
  • Ensure integrity of testing and repair processes, driving continuous improvement in quality and cycle time.
  • Travel to vendor sites for on-site support and assist partners with complex technical issues.
  • Implement new product introductions, ensuring hardware services meet repair capabilities prior to rollout.
