Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Product and Solution Security Officer for network and identification devices in one of our offices in Thailand.

This is your role. What part will you play?

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Drive and champion Product & Solution Security (PSS) initiatives across the organization, while ensuring alignment and collaboration with other Product & Solution Security Officers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, business management, product management, and project teams on security matters related to network and identification products and solutions.
  • Partner with the Business Segment CEO and Division Chief PSSO to establish effective processes, governance, and organizational structures that embed security into products and solutions.
  • Lead the execution of the Product & Solution Security strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader Division Security Strategy.
  • Promote security awareness across the organization and oversee supplier qualification and certification programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement of PSS processes in accordance with implementation policies, including threat and risk analysis, security requirements engineering, secure architecture and design, hardening, secure coding practices, and security testing.
  • Establish and manage vulnerability and incident handling processes, including vulnerability classification, incident assessment, and coordination with the Chief PSSO for final resolution and alignment.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CEO, Chief PSSO, and project leaders, to assess escalated security risks, determine mitigation approaches, and define risk acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the coordination of relevant security standards, regulatory requirements, and certification activities for products, solutions, processes, and organizations.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Product and Solution Security, with a strong track record of securing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage executive leadership, customers, sales and service teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of security principles, technologies, tools, and methodologies, along with knowledge of networking infrastructure such as switches, routers, and access points, as well as identification technologies including RFID readers and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS).
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions independently and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, security governance, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
