We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to contribute across our interoperability server, cloud infrastructure application development and healthcare workflow solutions. This role will engage with an international spectrum of teams and diverse technologies, providing opportunity to work throughout the software development lifecycle.

This highly technical role is for someone who enjoys working with and in international teams on software-architectural topics in and the translation of complex regulatory requirements into usable, highly scalable software. 

You will be in close contact with product management to fulfill highly demanding regulatory requirements in Europe and further develop the application also to incorporate incoming AI solutions to be attached to it.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions and OCI based cloud-native services.
  • Build and support healthcare applications (incl. MedicalDeviceRregulation- awareness), APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities.
  • Develop reliable, secure, and highly available systems running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Collaborate with a cultural diverse with product managers, architects, engineers, and operational teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Participate in system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational excellence initiatives, including driving and owning parts of them.
  • Contribute to automation, observability, security, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Support modernization efforts leveraging cloud technologies, healthcare interoperability standards, and AI-driven capabilities.
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, platform engineering, or related technical roles within a fast-paced technology environment. 
  • BS/MS in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing enterprise software applications on cloud platforms.
  • Technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java (preferred), Experience with OCI (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
  • Experience in Intercultural Engineering Teamwork.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare technology or regulated industries. MDR awareness.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, and healthcare data exchange concepts (Anyone or more)
  • Experience building, monitoring and maintaining large-scale SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or data engineering solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, platform engineering, or related technical roles within a fast-paced technology environment. 

  • BS/MS in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
