Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing models to support product lifecycle pricing, promotional planning, and margin optimization.
  • Conduct in-depth price sensitivity analyses and elasticity studies to recommend strategic pricing actions.
  • Determine mid to long-term price strategies based on differentiation/positioning strategies, competitor performance analysis, and profitability outlook.

Operational Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise pricing analysis in day-to-day operations, ensuring timely execution of price updates, promotional tracking, and margin analysis.
  • Monitor competitor pricing policies through price sensing, performance analysis, and trend analysis.
  • Manage pricing strategy based on competitor expectations and prospective profit and loss analysis results, reviewing optimal strategies by account/product.

Data and Reporting:

  • Oversee MX Cores, ensuring data integrity, governance, and reliability across all pricing datasets.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly impact and update average costs and balance quantities used in campaign creation.
  • Control monthly budget investments and manage reversal updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to define pricing strategies for new launches and portfolio adjustments.
  • Support Sales & Channel Teams with product guides to submit quarterly investment plans.
  • Coordination end-to-end process of investments campaigns and ensure alignment with promotional strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, finance, or commercial operations, ideally in consumer electronics or tech industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of margin drivers, elasticity, and price positioning strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with structured reasoning, results orientation, and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
  • English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AI tools and proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Background in retail, e-commerce or consumer goods.
  • Knowledge of revenue management techniques and dynamic pricing models.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Economics, Statistics or Data Science (a plus).
