Job Summary

This role is responsible for building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, advising and influencing their strategic decisions, and addressing complex business and technical challenges related to HP print hardware, print management software, workflow automation, managed print services (MPS), and print security solutions. The role collaborates with sales teams, solution architects, partners, and technical resources to develop customized solutions that drive customer business outcomes, optimize document workflows, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency. The role serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the organization's growth and revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design of complex, innovative, and strategic print solutions, including HP A3/A4 devices, multifunction printers, managed print services, workflow automation platforms, and print security architectures that address unique customer challenges and align with long-term business objectives.
  • Develops deep relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing business and technology decisions related to print modernization, digital transformation, document workflow optimization, sustainability initiatives, and security strategies.
  • Delivers compelling executive presentations, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements, articulating the value of HP print hardware, software, workflow solutions, and security offerings while aligning recommendations to customer business goals.
  • Partners with account teams to develop and execute strategic account plans, supporting sales opportunities through technical discovery, solution design, competitive differentiation, and customer adoption strategies that drive long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Designs and architects integrated print and workflow solutions, incorporating HP hardware, cloud-based services, print management platforms, document capture solutions, identity management tools, and third-party business applications to create seamless customer experiences.
  • Addresses complex customer challenges involving print infrastructure, device management, workflow automation, fleet optimization, and cybersecurity, leveraging innovative problem-solving skills to develop scalable and secure solutions.
  • Provides technical leadership during customer evaluations, RFP/RFI responses, proof-of-concept activities, and solution validations, ensuring recommended solutions meet functional, operational, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks associated with enterprise print environments, including endpoint security vulnerabilities, regulatory compliance requirements, data protection concerns, operational continuity risks, and fleet management challenges.
  • Conducts customer workshops and discovery sessions focused on print transformation and document workflows, helping organizations identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance security, and support hybrid work environments.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in HP print products, software platforms, managed print services, and HP Wolf Security solutions, providing guidance to customers, partners, sales teams, and junior consultants while fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Collaborates with security, IT, and procurement teams to position HP security solutions, including device hardening, secure print release, zero-trust printing principles, firmware protection, threat monitoring, and compliance-focused print architectures.
  • Supports revenue growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand hardware, software, services, and security solutions, helping customers maximize the value of their print environments while achieving measurable business outcomes.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 5–10 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, presales engineering, account management, or enterprise collaboration solutions.

Preferred Certifications

  • None required (Certifications are a plus.)

Compensation

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $115,650 to $160,600 USD annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
