Policy Enforcement Manager, Shopping, YouTube Trust and Safety Operations

As a Policy Enforcement Manager for YouTube Shopping, you will focus on keeping YouTube’s growing shopping ecosystem safe, compliant, and trustworthy. You will lead operational workflows that safeguard users, merchants and creators, support vendor teams, and work cross-functionally to solve issues in a fluid and evolving environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Ireland: €84000 - €86000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Oversee YouTube Shopping operations and vendor workflows, including reviewing graphic, controversial and offensive video against Community Guidelines to ensure ecosystem safety.
- Design and execute projects to optimize workflows, leveraging data insights and cross-functional partnerships to drive operational scale and efficiency.
- Analyze metrics and operational trends to proactively identify gaps, prevent abuse, and communicate data stories that inform policy and engineering solutions.
- Triage and resolve product and policy escalations with turnaround times, delivering executive communications to leadership.
- Partner across Product, Engineering, Vendor Operations, and Business Analyst teams to solve ecosystem issues and drive product innovations.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience interpreting operational data to define issue statements, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership.
- Experience managing operational workflows, vendor or queue performance metrics (SLOs, quality), or cross-functional safety initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience in operations including Shopping/e-commerce, vendor management, workflow optimization, process design or management consulting.
- Proficiency in data analytics, including working with datasets, querying multiple data sources, and performing analyses to track performance metrics and drive operational improvements.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
