We are looking for a Plant Manager. This position will be based in Roebuck, South Carolina.

Reporting to senior operations leadership, you will be responsible for the overall performance of an 800+ employee manufacturing facility with annual revenue exceeding $500 million. You will provide leadership across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources while guiding the facility through an ongoing transformation and capacity expansion. This role will drive safety, quality, delivery, people, customer, financial, operational excellence, digital transformation, workforce development, and business growth objectives.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Leading all aspects of plant operations, including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources, to achieve business and operational objectives.
  • Developing and executing strategies that support profitable growth, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, workforce development, production capacity, and long-term business performance.
  • Managing plant financial performance, including profit and loss, capital investments, resource allocation, and achievement of key safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer metrics.
  • Guiding the facility through its ongoing transformation, including production-line expansion, manufacturing-footprint reconfiguration, workflow optimization, and increased Busway and Bus Plug production capacity.
  • Driving Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, problem-solving, smart manufacturing, automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics initiatives that improve operational performance and workforce productivity.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, customer, and company requirements while fostering a culture of safety, quality, integrity, accountability, and disciplined execution.
  • Building a high-performing, inclusive organization through visible shop-floor leadership, coaching, succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, collaboration, and clear accountability for results.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience with the following:
    • Leading large-scale manufacturing operations within complex assembly-line or engineered-product production environments.
    • Managing plant financial performance, including profit and loss, capital investments, operational budgets, resource allocation, and business metrics.
    • Driving Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, operational excellence, capacity growth, and measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
    • Leading cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources.
    • Establishing strategic direction, leading organizational change, developing talent, holding teams accountable, and driving execution across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or an equivalent continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience leading plant expansions, facility reconfigurations, greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid transformation projects while maintaining ongoing production.
  • Experience with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, automation, digital transformation, advanced analytics, SAP, or advanced manufacturing systems.
