Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 1、Oversee the transition and full lifecycle management of key desktop commodities, including Storage, Memory, Panel, Wi-Fi, Graphics, and other critical components, to support business objectives and product success. 2、Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the key commodity landscape, covering cost, supply, customer requirements, and product readiness through close collaboration with marketing, cost, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams. 3、Identify, assess, and analyze business impacts and risks associated with commodity transitions, and develop proactive mitigation plans and actionable recommendations for both customers and internal stakeholders. 4、Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve critical issues, remove execution bottlenecks, and ensure alignment with business and product plans. 5、Coordinate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to support commodity planning, transition execution, and issue resolution. 6、Prepare concise, data-driven presentations, status reports, and executive summaries, translating complex information into actionable insights for leadership and key stakeholders. 7、Partner closely with Supply Chain teams to provide long-term demand forecasts, risk-buy recommendations, and consumption tracking to maintain a healthy balance between supply and demand. 8、Monitor commodity-related performance and execution progress, ensuring timely decision-making and effective risk management throughout the product lifecycle. Job Requirements: 1、Background in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline. 2、Experience in component engineering, supply chain management, product development, or related functions within the PC, semiconductor, or technology industry. 3、Strong understanding of key commodity technologies, including component lifecycle management, supply dynamics, and industry trends. 4、Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data, identify risks, and develop structured solutions. 5、Demonstrated learning agility, proactive ownership, and systematic thinking in addressing complex business and technical challenges. 6、Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams. 7、Professional proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for global business interactions. 8、Advanced presentation and reporting capabilities, including the ability to create clear, impactful PowerPoint materials and business reports.
