Junior Radio Engineer
The team is responsible for the research, development, testing, and optimization of advanced Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. By combining expertise in RF engineering, network performance, and wireless communications, the team contributes to the design and validation of innovative solutions that support the evolution of mobile networks. Working in a collaborative laboratory environment, team members are involved in RF measurements, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and the continuous improvement of next-generation connectivity technologies.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of wireless communication principles (e.g., OFDM, MIMO, cellular concepts). Knowledge of radio network design principles and RF planning fundamentals.
Experience working with measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or similar).
Familiarity with 4G (LTE) and/or 5G (NR) architecture and protocols.
Basic understanding of radio propagation and antenna theory.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in English and Ukrainian both written and verbal.
Nice to have
Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., NS-3, MATLAB).
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++).
Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Prior hands-on experience with RF equipment or lab work.
Familiarity with relevant radio standards and regulations.
Basic scripting skills for test automation (Python or similar).
Responsibilities
Support the design and planning of radio network elements and RF links.
Perform RF measurements and analyze results using laboratory measurement equipment.
Assist in the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of radio equipment.
Document test procedures, measurement results, and technical findings.
Collaborate with transport and core network engineers on end-to-end system integration.
Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of RAN features for 4G/5G networks.
Participate in the analysis and optimization of radio network performance.
Support the integration and verification of new RAN software and hardware components.
Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving issues related to RAN functionality.
Document technical specifications, test plans, and results.
