Your mission :

Take global responsibility for one of Siemens Machine Tool Systems’ most strategic customers: a leading Korean machine tool builder with an international footprint and growth momentum above the market. You will own the strategy and corresponding execution on behalf of Siemens, build and maintain trusted C-level relationships, shape the global account strategy, and orchestrate Siemens resources worldwide to drive sustainable, profitable growth. The role focuses on the strategic long-term development, exploitation, and maximization of global penetration and profitable growth for the assigned key customer within the selected Business or BU portfolio scope. The position is located in Seoul or Changwon, close to the customer’s headquarters and factory operations.

You’ll make an impact by :

- Strategic key account planning and execution

Owning the global relationship and business development agenda for the assigned strategic Korean machine tool account.

Analyzing the customer’s markets, competitive positioning, value chain, and needs to identify specific opportunities for scalable products, solutions, and services.

Developing and executing a multi-year global account strategy aligned with Siemens Machine Tool Systems’ business strategy and the customer’s international growth agenda.

Developing, exploiting, and maximizing customer penetration and profitable growth for the defined Siemens organizational units.

-  Pipeline and opportunity management

Taking responsibility for key opportunities and the overall pipeline, and driving execution through all direct and indirect channels.

Identifying and converting growth opportunities across CNC, automation, digitalization, software, service, and lifecycle business.

Ensuring opportunity information is communicated transparently to relevant portfolio stakeholders, including Business Units and Domain Management teams.

-  Team orchestration and customer engagement

Selecting and functionally leading the supporting global account team together with the respective vertical and line management.

Orchestrating a virtual account team across regions, headquarters, product management, service, R&D, and local sales organizations.

Building sustainable customer relationships at all relevant hierarchical levels, including C-level stakeholders at the customer and Siemens.

Acting as the advocate for the key account’s interests and demonstrating personal long-term commitment to the key customer (minimum 3 years; 5+ years preferred).

Preparing and leading executive reviews, strategic workshops, account planning sessions, and management-level negotiations.

Positioning Siemens as the customer’s preferred technology and innovation partner for global machine tool applications.

-  Sales administration and reporting

Providing and regularly updating a comprehensive Account Business Plan for the key account.

Providing transparent forecasting, business planning, opportunity tracking, and regular reporting to Siemens management.

Negotiating strategic commercial agreements, pricing frameworks, project support models, and partnership initiatives.

This is how you’ll win us over :

- Education: University degree in engineering, automation, mechatronics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.

- Experience : Several years of successful experience in account management, strategic sales, or business development in an industrial B2B environment.

- Industry knowledge :   Strong understanding of machine tools, CNC technology, industrial automation, digital manufacturing, and customer value chains.

- Executive presence : Proven ability to engage with senior management and build sustainable C-level relationships based on trust, value, and strategic relevance.

- Leadership : Demonstrated ability to select, orchestrate, and functionally lead international, cross-functional account teams in coordination with vertical and line management.

- Commercial acumen : Strong capabilities in strategic account planning, pipeline management, negotiation, forecasting, and profitable growth development across direct and indirect channels.

- Ways of working : Self-driven, entrepreneurial, structured, and reliable working style with the ability to navigate complex international stakeholder environments and advocate for customer interests.

- Languages : Business-fluent English is required. Korean language skills are an advantage.

-  Mobility : Willingness to travel regularly within Korea and internationally to strengthen customer relationships, support executive alignment, and drive global account development. Potential assignment or delegation from Germany may be considered.

- Long-term commitment : Readiness to demonstrate personal long-term commitment to the key customer (minimum 3 years; 5+ years preferred).
