Responsibilities
  • Works with the project design team to understand design requirements, to meet the project objectives for FPGA subsystems and interconnections.
  • Evaluates and selects suitable FPGA solutions with optimized speed, size and cost to meet the design requirements.
  • Develops FPGA codes, perform simulation/synthesis and implement the FPGA hardware solution into the electronic system
  • Performs characterization and testing of design prototypes, analyze and validate the design to meet product performance specifications. 
  • Participate in technical discussion, design review, planning and decision-making. 
  • Constantly on the search to innovate, promote efficiency and learn new technologies to increase competency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or the equivalent.
  • At least >2 years of relevant experience for this position.
  • Experience in the design of FPGA/ASIC and implementation at the system level.
  • Experience in VHDL/Verilog coding, logic simulation and synthesis and familiar with design tools Xilinx Vivado/ISE or Altera Quartus, Modelsim and Synplify Pro.
  • Good knowledge of basic electronic and system design, test and validation using test equipment and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork, eager to learn, passionate and forward-thinking.
