Job Description

The Finance Manager, Financial Analysis, is responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. This role performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance, gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. The position also conducts economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental requirements.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and interpret financial concepts for planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisitions, and operating forecasts.
• Conduct economic research and studies related to rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment opportunities.
• Support compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
• Provide business analysis and support for ongoing management of key initiatives.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• B.S. degree in business or accounting required with 9 or more years or 7 or more years with an Advanced degree experience in audit, finance, accounting, or statistical reporting.
• Experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
• Experience in economic research and financial modeling.
• Experience in supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.
• Experience providing business analysis and supporting management of key initiatives.
• Experience with digital tools and technologies in finance.
• CPA preferred.
• Advanced application of pivot tables, macros, and formulas.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analytics.
• Experience with Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI is a plus.
