The Paradox events team sits within Workday to bring experiences to life across trade shows, association events, and partnership-driven activations. We design and execute end-to-end experiences that turn every client and prospect touchpoint into a driver of pipeline and relationship value, combining logistical precision with creative experiences across a full calendar of high-impact events. About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Events and Experiences Manager to lead event coordination, execution, and experience design across tradeshows, association events, and partnership-driven activations. Based out of Scottsdale, AZ, this role will also provide dedicated event and field marketing support to the Paradox marketing team within Workday. This role sits at the intersection of logistics, creative experience design, and partnership coordination, and is critical to ensuring every client and prospect touchpoint reflects the brand and drives pipeline and relationship value.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple concurrent events, and skilled at turning event strategy into flawless on-site execution. This role requires 40-50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Execution
Own end-to-end planning and execution of tradeshows, industry conferences, and association events
Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor negotiation, budget management, staffing, shipping/booth setup, and on-site execution
Build and manage event calendars and timelines across multiple concurrent events
Experience Design
Design end-to-end attendee experiences, including booth design, client dinners, workshops, and hosted events, that reflect brand standards and elevate client and prospect engagement
Architect comprehensive attendee journeys for a varied event portfolio, customizing each activation to align with specific audience profiles, strategic goals, and target business results.
Craft immersive and impactful experiences that foster significant networking opportunities and drive shared value for both the organization and its guests.
Convert overarching event objectives and deep audience understanding into unified brand environments that consistently uphold and advance our established identity.
Partner with creative and marketing teams on event collateral, signage, and branded environments
Trade Show & Association Events
Serve as the primary point of contact for tradeshow and association event logistics and strategy.
Review and manage sponsorships, suggesting the best option to maximize ROI, secure strategic speaking slot logistics, and manage on-site presence at major industry conferences.
Coordinate positioning and booth strategy at events where Workday or partner leadership keynote
Partnership Coordination
Coordinate joint events and co-branded experiences with strategic partners, including client board events, summits, and workshops
Manage logistics for partner-hosted or co-hosted events, ensuring alignment on scope, timing, and deliverables
Paradox GTM Support
Support the Paradox go-to-market team's event and field marketing needs, including prospect-facing events, workshops, and sales enablement sessions
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and partner teams to align event strategy with pipeline and GTM goals
About You
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or experiential marketing
Managing tradeshows, conferences, and association events end-to-end
Vendor management, budgeting, and project management skills
Experience coordinating partner or co-branded events
Other Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with a strong bias toward execution and follow-through
Willingness and ability to travel 40-50%
Based in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ

Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
