We are looking for a ERTMS/ETCS Onboard - DMI Validator
You’ll make a difference by:
- You will be responsible for validating ERTMS/ETCS onboard functions and DMI behaviour against requirements and railway safety standards, supporting system integration and delivering high-quality validation evidence for international projects.
- Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of total experience, including 2+ years in ERTMS/ETCS Onboard, DMI or railway signalling.
- Hands-on experience in system/software verification, testing or validation.
- Good understanding of ETCS onboard functions, operational modes, scenarios and DMI behaviour.
- Experience in requirement-based testing, traceability, defect analysis and validation reporting.
- Knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, CENELEC and SIL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with ETCS Level 1/2 and onboard–trackside/RBC interfaces.
- Experience in DMI validation, system integration and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with reviews, inspections or audits in safety-critical software development.
- Ability to work independently and with international cross-functional teams.

- Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyse ERTMS/ETCS and DMI requirements and define validation scenarios.
- Prepare and execute validation plans and requirement-based tests.
- Validate onboard functions, DMI behaviour and relevant onboard–trackside interfaces.
- Analyse test results, defects and non-conformities and ensure traceability.
- Review verification/testing evidence and prepare validation reports.
- Collaborate with system, software, safety and global project teams.
- Experience & Qualification
- 5+ years total experience; preferably 2+ years specifically in ERTMS/ETCS Onboard/DMI.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
