Director, People Business PartnerOverviewThe Europe People & Capability team is looking for a Director, People Business Partner to partner with leaders across the Northern Europe division to shape and execute people strategies that enable business growth, organisational effectiveness and an exceptional employee experience.
Northern Europe is made up of Nordics, The Netherlands and Baltics, supporting a diverse employee population across multiple markets and business functions.
The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who combines strong business acumen with deep people expertise, thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and is passionate about helping leaders build high-performing, inclusive and future-ready teams. The role is responsible for the people management of a team of People Business Partners in markets across Northern Europe.
All About the Role
In this position, you will:
• Partner with leaders across Northern Europe to execute people strategies, workforce plans and talent priorities that support business growth, organisational effectiveness and long-term capability needs.
• Serve as the operational escalation point for local HR requirements.
• Lead key People & Capability process delivery including talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management and year-end compensation activities.
• Guide and coach leaders through organisational design, change and transformation initiatives, strengthening leadership capability, team effectiveness and business performance.
• Build strong partnerships across business leadership teams, Centres of Excellence and Shared Services to deliver integrated people solutions and a consistent employee experience.
• Use workforce data, talent insights and market intelligence to identify emerging trends, inform business decisions and drive organisational outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on employment legislation, labour market trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and practices.

• Demonstrate success partnering with senior business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that drive business performance, organisational effectiveness and growth.
• Have advanced experience leading talent, workforce planning, succession, performance management and organisational change initiatives within a complex global matrix organisation.
• Have experience leading, developing and inspiring teams, with a demonstrated ability to build capability, drive performance and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Be a trusted advisor and influential coach, with the ability to build credibility and challenge constructively at all levels.
• Use data, insights and market intelligence to identify trends, solve problems and guide business decisions.
• Have the ability to be hands on with execution of both operational and strategic priorities across both Northern Europe and broader Europe.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across matrixed global organisations to drive outcomes through collaboration and influence.
• Bring strong judgement, commercial acumen and expertise in Northern European employment legislation and labour market dynamics to navigate complex people and organisational matters.
