The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are looking for a Cycle Count Team Lead to join our team. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.
The Team Lead will lead the Cycle Count Team to maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and inventory adjustments. The Cycle Counter Group Leader will also assist the Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Customer Service in locating and transferring materials.
Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Hourly Rate: $24.79
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, including inventory control processes
- 3+ years of forklift operation experience
- Experience with SAP system. RF Scanner devices and MS Office applications
- Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- +5S/6S
- +Problem solving (A3, 8D, etc)
You’ll make an impact by:
- Conduct and direct quarterly cycle counts on-time and within the scope of inventory guidelines.
- Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks).
- Communicate with buyers, planners, and production areas to resolve inventory issues.
- Utilizes SAP & Electronica to look up parts and conduct cycle counts.
- Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team / area.
- Have knowledge of Siemens part numbers, SAP locations, and key areas.
