Your Impact

As a Wireless Network Consulting Engineer (NCE), you will drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for projects and accounts to accelerate customer outcomes. You will assist customers with integration and implementation of Cisco technologies, support presale activities by translating business requirements into solution designs and build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate issues. You will also build and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer, drive customer technology transitions influencing solution architectures and services, and act as an individual contributor aligned with company policies and Professional Services’ strategies.

  • Associate with customers and internal/external resources on design, deployment and optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
  • Take ownership of customer account from requirement workshop to delivery of outcomes
  • Implement new techniques and methodologies in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.
  • Build and review project deliverables such as design recommendations, high-level and low-level designs, and implementation/change management plans.
  • Build and use test environments to resolve sophisticated problems and compatibility issues.
  • Demonstrate experience in using AI solutions and tools to configure and deploy networking products and solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g., skills, agents, workflows).
  • Act as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements, ensuring accurate and quick resolution of major customer problems across relevant technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experienced knowledge in wireless RF design and wireless network design for large enterprises, stadiums and industrial environments
  • Proven experience leading large WLAN migration projects and complex Pre-Deployment Inspection (PDI) and optimization engagements.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 and programmability of networks
  • Hands-on product knowledge of Cisco Wi-Fi 7 access points, Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers, Meraki cloud dashboard, Campus gateway and Catalyst Centre.
  • Ability to work without supervision, receiving little instruction on routine and new assignments.
