Communications Manager, Reality Labs
Description
Meta is seeking a highly motivated Communications Manager to create awareness and excitement for Reality Labs products. This person will work across an exciting range of products and services -- including AI Wearables and VR -- that are coming together to build the next computing platform. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about new technology, brings creativity, and writes well. This individual should have a track record of planning and executing announcements, working closely with earned media (reporters and creators), advising and/or executing on social media campaigns, and working cross-functionally across product, marketing and partners.
Responsibilities
Create strategic plans and campaigns to advance product adoption and company reputation Tell compelling stories about our products and their impact on people across varied channels Maintain and forge new relationships with media and creators Support proactive communications work across seasonal moments and events Think through integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned and social Help shape the tone for Reality Labs to create messaging and tactics that will resonate with target audiences Work directly with executives to shape how they can help advance our campaigns or narratives Create content such key messaging, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials that evangelize various announcements and milestones Lead press events, prepare spokespeople, and create briefing materials Collaborate across multiple functions including engineering, product, marketing, content, and communications Implement AI-tooling into daily workflows to drive efficiency and speed of impact
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field 7+ years of experience in technology/entertainment public relations, or related field Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Compensation: $119,000/year to $171,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
