Description and Requirements


The Product & Business function is an integral part of the UK&I region and pivotal in ensuring the success of our profit and revenue contribution to our overall business. A 4P Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of Lenovo client products. Partnering with Commercial sales managers and teams to drive initiatives to maximize mix, margin and the overall commercial product portfolio.

Join us in shaping this growing area of focus as we build a best-in-class Product & Business Management function in the market. This role reports to the Head of Commercial 4P in the UK.

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze weekly sales-out, stock, sell-in, market share, pricing and competitor activity to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Co-own accurate country forecasting with Sales, including sell-in performance versus forecast, quarterly planning and weekly P&L forecast bridges.
  • Manage channel pricing, bid pricing, promotional activities and sales-out tracking to support revenue, margin and portfolio performance.
  • Partner closely with local sales teams to define weekly priorities, drive commercial initiatives and maximize product mix, margin and overall contribution.
  • Own inventory performance, including weeks of inventory and aged stock, ensuring levels remain aligned with company targets.
  • Build market and customer understanding through sales and customer meetings, recommending, and positioning the right products to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, selected business partners and alliances to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Own the designated product portfolio end-to-end, from market introduction to end of life, including product offering, price setting, transitions, promotions, spiffs, and competitive positioning.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of product and/or business management experience, ideally within the IT or technology sector.
  • Strong commercial and customer understanding, with the ability to identify business opportunities and make commercially sound decisions.
  • Solid understanding of channel management, channel-based sales models, customers and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with local sales teams, customers, channel partners and stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Good understanding of P&L and financial management, with the ability to connect commercial decisions to business outcomes.
  • Confident presenter, able to communicate ideas, strategies and product positioning clearly, concisely and convincingly.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret company data and market research, draw conclusions and recommend actions.
  • Degree-level or equivalent education in marketing, business or a related discipline.
