Position Overview 

The Siemens Healthineers Entra ID Administrator will be part of a global team that supports the company’s Entra ID infrastructure worldwide. This role is responsible for monitoring and operating Entra ID, supporting its ongoing development, contributing to related projects, and collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the Americas on modern identity practices, including conditional access, hybrid identity, and Zero Trust. The position sits within the SHS IT Infrastructure Modern Workplace Core Services organization, with a dedicated focus on cloud identity.

Responsibilities 

  • Operate and evolve the organization's global Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant, ensuring the security and reliability of identity services.
  • Manage hybrid identity synchronization between on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Configure and maintain conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication, and identity governance controls.
  • Contribute to the organization's Zero Trust security roadmap for identity and access management.
  • Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API
  • Investigate and resolve sign-in, authentication, and identity-related incidents, serving as a point of contact for such issues.
  • Participate in global cloud identity projects and initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Siemens Healthineers' security standards for identity infrastructure.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Identity and cloud expertise: Expert knowledge of Entra ID, including user and group management, conditional access, application registrations, and hybrid identity concepts such as Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect and synchronization scenarios.
  • Automation and scripting: Strong PowerShell scripting skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Graph API for task automation.
  • Security and service management: Strong understanding of Microsoft security guidelines, cloud technologies, and ITIL practices.
  • Microsoft 365 and documentation: Strong experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as creating clear technical documentation.
  • Identity security controls: Experience with multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity governance, and access reviews.
  • Work style and collaboration: Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high delivery quality; self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently using a best-practice approach.
  • Learning agility: Adaptive learner with the ability to understand and apply new technologies and architecture efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong written and spoken English skills for regular collaboration with colleagues, technical teams, and stakeholders across multiple regions.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as SC-300 or AZ-104.
  • Experience with on-premises Active Directory to support understanding of hybrid identity scenarios.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and backend operations.
  • Knowledge of Siemens or Siemens Healthineers infrastructure environments.
