Associate Security Solution Architect, APJC Customer Security
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Associate Secure AI Solution Architect to join our APJC Customer Security team. Customers across the region are moving fast on AI and need guidance on building securely. The patterns and frameworks that answer their questions exist — but they don't reach the field at scale without someone who owns the packaging, the events, the community, and the enablement. That's you.
Your primary mandate is the scale engine: the webinars, community events, enablement series, and builder circles that build Secure AI skills across the field, and the packaging of reference patterns into content a Solutions Architect or partner can pick up and use without a specialist in the room. You own this end to end — logistics, scheduling, content readiness, delivery, and follow-up.
Alongside the scale work, you get real keyboard time. You help build and test prototypes and reference implementations in sandbox environments, learning the AWS AI and security services (Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker) and modern development tooling as you go. You take well-scoped pieces of work through to done with guidance, and grow toward owning harder problems independently over time.
This is a role for someone early in their career who is genuinely excited by security and AI, learns fast, loves helping others succeed, and wants to build a deep technical foundation in one of the most important areas in the industry.
Key job responsibilities
You start the morning in a sandbox, helping build out and test part of an agentic-identity reference pattern. You pick up a well-scoped piece — wiring up and validating one of the guardrail configurations — and take it to done, learning how the whole pattern fits together as you go.
Mid-morning you switch to the scale side of the role: you are running a webinar next week that brings a new pattern to the field, so you finalise the run-sheet, line up the presenter, and send the invites across the areas. You also tidy a workshop kit so any field Solutions Architect can deliver the session themselves.
After lunch you turn a reference architecture that was just published into a crisp enablement guide and a short briefing a Solutions Architect can take straight into a customer conversation. You check in with a builder-circle community you help run and clear a couple of small blockers for the organisers.
You close the day looking at how the last community event landed — who joined, what resonated, which content got reused — and share a short read-out with the team. No two days look the same, but the thread is consistent: you are learning to build, and making sure what the team builds reaches everyone.
About the team
APJC Customer Security helps customers across the region adopt AI on AWS with confidence — ensuring security, risk, and regulation accelerate AI adoption rather than slow it down. We run two coupled programmes: Secure AI (making AWS the best place to build securely with AI) and AI for Security (using AI to help customers defend themselves). As an Associate Secure AI Solution Architect, you own the enablement and community engine that helps the whole programme scale. You will have a clear development path, a peer community to learn from, and the chance to build a deep technical foundation in one of the most important areas in the industry.

Key job responsibilities
- Organise and run the channels that build Secure AI skills at scale — webinars, community events, enablement series, and builder circles — owning end-to-end coordination across multiple areas and time zones.
- Package reference patterns and frameworks into field-ready enablement — briefings, guides, and workshop kits — that a Solutions Architect or partner can pick up and use without a specialist in the room.
- Grow a community of practice around Secure AI, keeping content current and accessible so skills build consistently across the field and customers.
- Track reach, engagement, and field adoption of the content and events you run, and share what you learn so the next round is sharper.
- Get hands-on keyboard time building and testing prototypes and reference implementations in sandbox environments — learning the AWS AI and security services and modern development tooling as you go.
- Take well-scoped, straightforward pieces of technical work through to done with guidance — learning the Secure AI control patterns (agent identity, prompt-injection defence, AI development lifecycle controls, guardrails, governance evidence) as you contribute to them.
- Grow your technical depth and judgment over time, building toward owning harder problems independently.
