Application Engineer Consultant - Calibre DS

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers via telephone and other electronic means, and at customer locations

Assist customers in deploying Siemens EDA's Calibre software to solve design challenges

Support design and verification on PDK, DRM, post-tape out flow (mask), using Calibre software

Track and update customer issues using defined Siemens EDA's processes and tracking tools

Develop and deliver technical training on new features and product updates

Develop technical content for Siemens EDA's knowledge base

Communicate customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales teams

Job Qualifications

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with customers

Good understanding of custom/ASIC design flow and physical verification

Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in a programming language

Knowledge of competitive EDA tools and products in the area of physical implementation, physical verification is highly desired

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, M.S preferred
