Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical design and engineering of server and storage products from architectural requirement analysis to mass production
Co-work with Hardware/Thermal/Layout/SV engineers to create mechanical related and PCBA designs based on the requirements
Perform mechanical detail design including 3D/2D, material and process definition, and cable routing in both L10 systems and L11 racks
Mechanical part BoM, DFM/DFA review, tooling trial review and PPAP approval
Track projects and progress through regular reviews and meetings
Assist product cost control and cost saving opportunity studies
Validate samples, problem solving and build the lessons learnt records
Provide mechanical related technical support to project teams and customers

Qualifications:

8+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
Experience in developing of products from architectural requirements to mass products, with rich DOE experience
Familiar with Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, etc.
Skilled with Windchill and Creo tools
Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
With document written skills in both Chinese & English, basic communication skills in English
With interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, supplier & project teams
