Description and Requirements
Adjacencies Strategy and Business Development Lead will play a critical role in accelerating the growth of Lenovo Japan’s adjacencies business by connecting business strategy, customer engagement, and campaign execution.
This position will lead business development initiatives, design customer journeys, and build campaign strategies that convert market opportunities into measurable business outcomes. The role will work closely with Adjacencies Commercial and Consumer Leads, 4P leaders, sales teams, marketing, and alliance stakeholders to drive demand generation, campaign ROI, revenue growth, and BMCGP contribution.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic and execution-oriented leader who can turn fragmented initiatives into scalable growth programs and help establish adjacencies as a core growth pillar for Japan PCSD.
This role reports directly to the Director, Japan PCSD Growth Strategy Team.

As the Adjacencies Strategy and Business Development Lead, you will drive business development, campaign strategy, and customer journey design to accelerate the growth of Visual & Accessories, Tablet and broader adjacencies businesses.
This role will work across sales, 4P, marketing, product, and alliance teams to turn growth opportunities into scalable GTM initiatives and measurable business impact, including engagement, campaign ROI, demand generation, revenue, and BMCGP.
This is a high-impact Senior Manager role for someone who wants to shape a new strategic function and directly contribute to sustainable PCSD growth in Japan.
About the Team
Japan PCSD is establishing the Growth Strategy Team to transform Adjacencies and Alliance businesses into strategic growth engines for sustainable PCSD growth. The team will drive clearer business ownership, stronger co-ownership with core product and channel leaders, and disciplined execution across strategy, GTM, solution development, and business performance management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to accelerate adjacencies growth across commercial and consumer segments.
- Design customer journey frameworks that improve engagement, demand generation, and conversion across key routes to market.
- Lead campaign strategy planning, working with sales, 4P, marketing, and other related functions to ensure campaigns are aligned with business priorities.
- Translate market insights, customer needs, and channel opportunities into actionable GTM initiatives.
- Drive campaign PDCA by tracking performance, identifying gaps, and improving execution quality.
- Partner with segment leads and core business leaders to strengthen co-ownership and ensure adjacencies are embedded into business planning and execution.
- Build scalable growth motions that improve engagement, campaign ROI, demand generation, revenue, and BMCGP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and turn them into executable plans.
- Experience in GTM, campaign planning, customer journey design, or channel/customer engagement.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, 4P, marketing, product, and other stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and execution discipline, with the ability to manage campaign performance and business impact.
- Strategic thinker who can simplify complex business challenges and drive alignment across stakeholders.
- Passion for building new growth engines and influencing change beyond formal reporting lines.
