Your role:
- Process, validate, and post supplier invoices accurately and timely in accordance with company policies, accounting standards, and approval workflows.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, supporting documentation, and tax requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy before processing.
- Manage vendor accounts, resolve invoice and payment discrepancies, and respond to supplier inquiries in collaboration with local and regional finance teams.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, General Ledger reconciliations, and investigation of reconciling items.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, corporate governance standards, and company finance policies.
- Contribute to process optimization, standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects across the MEA region.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support audits, financial reporting, and ad hoc accounting projects.
- Deliver high-quality service by meeting SLAs, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring confidentiality in a multicultural, remote work environment.
Your expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professionally qualified or partially qualified Chartered Accountant or hold an equivalent accounting qualification from a recognized and reputable professional institution.
- SAP knowledge is mandatory
- Experience supporting multinational organizations or shared service environments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to details
- Strong problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote international teams.
