In SC Planning, we are responsible for balancing demand and supply to ensure product availability and operational efficiency across HP’s global network. Our core activities are Supply Planning and the creation of a Master Production Schedule (MPS). We use advanced planning tools such as SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to align inventory, capacity, production and logistics/ distribution.

As a result, we coordinate flows between manufacturing sites/vendors and distribution centers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective operations with optimal inventory for all Printing business.


Responsibilities

  • Subject Mater Expert for SAP IBP for the Printing Supply Planning team, ensuring correct and efficient use of the system during planning cycles.
  • Provide IBP second‑level support & troubleshooting (1st level support is at team Super-User), including data inconsistencies, integration errors, user failures; escalate to IT or data process stewards or IBP project teams when needed.
  • Support supply planners on generating supply plan by ensuring data accuracy, user correctness and system reliability.
  • Lead testing activities (UAT, regression testing) for new IBP releases or SC projects that impact IBP, test enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical system issues, providing immediate support and coordinating BCP to maintain planning cycle stability and operational continuity
  • Document and maintain SOPs, SC maps, training materials, and process guidelines related to IBP usage.
  • Train and coach the Supply Planning team on IBP functionalities, best practices, and new features.
  • Maintain and continuously improve planning views, templates, key figures, and alerts to support planners in generating the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Collaborate with global process owners to drive continuous improvement and harmonization of planning processes.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, IT or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Supply Chain Planning systems
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4 (Master Data, PO management) + SAP IBP (Forecast/Demand, Supply, Inventory, Time Series).
  • Project Management experience
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of inventory management, capacity planning, factory operations, allocation management, shortage mitigation, and NPI processes. Ability to translate business requirements into planning solutions.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities; strong Excel/PBI skills required.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, AI-driven process optimization is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and training skills.
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environment.
