About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional IAM Architect to own and drive our comprehensive Enterprise Identity Governance Framework (IGA). This senior leadership position will be responsible for architecting, executing, enhancing, and presenting our identity transformation strategy with minimal oversight. As a cross-functional team leader, you will direct IAM governance to ensure cohesive execution across the identity landscape (IAM/IGA/PAM).

What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Transformation:
Take complete ownership of our Identity Governance Framework - from strategy to execution, ensuring successful implementation with minimal supervision
Provide direct leadership IAM governance in collaboration with PAM and across IAM function, ensuring alignment and coordinated execution
Make authoritative technical decisions on IAM architecture, product selection, and implementation approaches based on industry best practices
Develop executive presentations, lead stakeholder communications, and cultivate executive sponsorship for identity initiatives
Apply business relationship management practices to cultivate strong stakeholder partnerships that deliver technology-enabled outcomes
Technical Architecture:
Implement comprehensive identity solutions across Okta, SailPoint, Delinea, BeyondTrust, HashiCorp Vault, and Crowdstrike Next-Gen SIEM while creating custom IAM tools and automation to address enterprise needs. Apply AI for enhanced identity governance, anomaly detection, and access intelligence.
Expert-level proficiency in cloud IAM solutions i.e. AWS, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Architecting IGA processes (access reviews, compliance reporting, RBAC/ABAC)
Designing, implement and scale digital identity lifecycle management for human, non-human, and AI identities
Evaluating and optimizing IGA architecture
Establishing technical standards and best practices for authentication, authorization, and privilege management
Implementing monitoring frameworks focused on availability, performance, and security
Implement IAM best practices, design operational runbooks, robust controls, workflows, governance processes and create incident response procedures for identity services
Coordinating cross-functional teams with little oversight
Drive measurable improvements in security posture, operational efficiency, and compliance through identity transformation
Innovation & Research:
Leverage AI for IAM innovation, applying AI technologies to enhance identity governance, anomaly detection, and access intelligence
Conduct systems engineering research to develop forward-thinking solutions that enhance cybersecurity posture
Stay ahead of emerging identity security trends, technologies, and threats
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in identity governance practices
What You’ll Need:
Technical Skills:
8+ years of enterprise IGA experience with significant time in both mid-sized companies navigating growth inflection points and large enterprise environments with complex, global identity requirements
Proven experience scaling IAM infrastructure during periods of hyper-growth
Leadership & Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring IAM professionals
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
Experience developing identity frameworks that balance security, usability, and scalability
Strong background in IAM operations management, including incident response, change management, and service reliability
Unrelenting passion for identity and access management with demonstrated thought leadership and continuous learning
Insatiable curiosity about identity technologies and a proven history of self-directed research and innovation
Exceptional drive and work ethic matching the intensity and pace of a world-class cybersecurity leader
Proven team leadership experience across multiple IAM disciplines (IAM, IGA, and PAM)
Bonus Points:
Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture
Expertise with identity in containerized/Kubernetes environments
Background in IAM for multi-cloud environments
Experience with security compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.)
Implementation experience with decentralized identity or blockchain-based identity solutions
Expertise in developing AI/ML models for security applications
Experience with large language models for security automation and policy creation
Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Experience with chaos engineering principles applied to identity systems
CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications

Innovative application of AI to enhance identity governance and security
Success will be measured through KPIs including:
Reduction in orphaned/uncorrelated accounts i.e. human, non-human, and AI identities
Increased percentage of applications and entitlement with defined ownership
Improved Joiner/Mover/Leaver efficiency
Enhanced access review coverage and completion times
Greater standardization of RBAC profiles
