Logistics Operations Manager, Google Cloud Logistics

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day logistics and 3PL vendor performance at warehouses and data centers, ensuring consistent service level agreement (SLA) compliance and business continuity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and vendor scorecards while managing quarterly/annual budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects.
- Lead Program Management activities and prioritize initiatives in fast-paced environments, developing business cases to drive logistics process improvements.
- Partner with vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times and meet joint performance goals.
- Drive continuous improvement for forward and reverse material flows and engage with Google stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficient scaling.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations.
- 5 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.
- 5 years of experience identifying issues in processes and creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.
- 2 years of experience in logistics management in mission-critical environments like data centers, high-technology manufacturing, or aerospace.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Total Quality Management (TQM) methodologies to eliminate supply chain waste and improve efficiency.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Experience with specialized Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the ability to model logistics data using SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
