Program Coordinator, US ADC Data Center Security
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
The Cleared Escort Program is the ADC Global resource provider to Infrastructure, Operations and Services teams for our ADC regions.
The ADC Cleared Escort Program is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Program Manager. The cleared escort team provides an internal service, providing construction and operations security escorts, who accompany uncleared personnel into data center areas to ensure our work meets stringent U.S. government regulations for access and security. You will support the existing team and manage cleared security resources across a geographically dispersed program. You will work with multiple partners across a matrixed organization to understand their use of uncleared labor, and will help define the correct cleared escorting support to meet their needs. You will work with escort vendors to procure and then manage a central pool of escorting resources, aligned to that demand, making sure each team has the resources they need, when they need them. You will oversee the training and performance of the security escorts.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen.
Key job responsibilities
You will work with the existing Cleared Escort Program team, business partner teams, and manage the cleared security escorts to raise the bar for security standards across the Cleared Escort Program Portfolio.
Additional duties include:
AWS Customer Management: Manage demand from our internal customers – our business partner teams - including forecasting and utilization of resources to meet custome needs. Drive adherence to program processes through effective engagement and training.
Resource Management: Oversee resource prioritization and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization and timely delivery. Provide escalation reporting and management. Provide escort, clearance processing, training and delivery.
Communications Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders, AWS Customers, and vendors to manage expectations, align on priorities, and facilitate solutions.
Interact with stakeholders to define and deliver solutions, establish standard processes and quality experiences. Work with the AWS teams to improve planning and resource use efficiency.
Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to achieve target metrics, including identifying and communicating potential risks and obstacles, and providing corrective action plans.
Reporting: Deliver comprehensive financial, business analytics, and voice of the customer reporting to provide visibility and insights for decision-making.
A day in the life
Partner with current region coordinators and all ADC infrastructure and service Technical Infrastructure Program Managers and Project Managers to capture the escort requirements across the lifecycle of the region. Work directly with cleared escort vendors, ADC personnel security partners and the Federal Delivery Organization to procure, clear, onboard/train, schedule and deliver the resource to customers. Maintain routine communication with stakeholders for daily escort utilization. Measure, assess and report out program analytics and voice of the customer feedback in support of business reviews.
