We are looking for a world-class Director of Creator Product Marketing to define how we build empathy, communicate innovation, and foster long-term success for our developer community. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a blend of technical depth, narrative mastery, and the executive partnership to shape the platform’s most critical relationships.
You will define how Roblox communicates and builds utility for millions of developers worldwide. You will lead a high-performing team of Product Marketers who drive the engine for our Engine, AI, and Creator products. Your objective is to move beyond the technical "what" and define the "why" that connects our product roadmap to the ambitions of our creators.
You must be an opinionated advocate for the creator experience, comfortable navigating complex strategic debates at the executive level and ensuring our marketing efforts drive genuine business and community impact.
This role is based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters on a hybrid model, in-person three days a week and reports into the Senior Director of Product Marketing. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:
- Reimagine the way we communicate with creators. You will up-level individual features into broad, platform-defining programs that resonate across our most important surfaces, from product launches to owned community channels.
- Act as a key advisor to the Chief Creator Ecosystem Officer, SVP of Engine and other C-suite leaders. You are expected to bring a strong, insights-informed perspective to the table, possessing the intellectual confidence to challenge the status quo and defend the strategic direction of the creator narrative.
- Build a deep bridge between Engineering, Product, Developer Relations, and Comms. You will lead a team that ensures the creator point of view is the heartbeat of every initiative, including Economy, User, and Safety workstreams.
- Partner with Product, Design, User Research and Data Science to move beyond the launch moment, developing strategies that drive long-term adoption and utility of hero products.
- Use market intelligence and deep creator empathy to act as a sounding board for product and ensure our product roadmap and messaging frameworks are genuinely grounded in the lived experience of our developers.
- Synthesize complex, technical innovations into high-impact narratives that inspire action and cultivate trust across a diverse, global audience of creators.
- Partner with the Integrated Marketing team to bring our narratives to life via high-quality marketing programs and assets.
You Have:
- 10 + years Product Marketing in high-growth, two-sided technology platform, or deep expertise with Developer, Gaming and/or Social Platforms
- Desire to work in a high-velocity, high visibility role with lots of ambiguity
- A technical, inventive and community-minded approach to marketing
- A collaborative, perpetually curious nature with an extremely high-level of creator obsession.
- Stellar verbal and written communication skills. Experience presenting at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Annual Salary Range
$300,940-$338,510 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
