As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial governance across the organization, including analysis of various infrastructure assets.
  • Deliver forecasts of capital and operating expenses on quarterly intervals, in partnership with business leads, budget owners, and the finance organisation.
  • Executive presentations monthly and quarterly reflecting actual spend vs forecasts and plans.
  • Analyze and organize data sets and reports into summaries that drive business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities and address system/workflow gaps to foster continuous improvement and enhancement partnering with tooling teams.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management with experience in Financial Planning and Forecasting, data modeling, investment governance, systems development and business partnering.
  • Experience in technical infrastructure concepts, system design, the software/hardware development life-cycle and capital investment evaluation.
  • Experience with methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Lean.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.
  • Ability to grow independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with knowledge in data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheet software, Google Suite/Workspace tools, SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and business information to audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the use of project artifacts (e.g., RAID logs, RACI matrices) and productivity tools.
  • Excellent time management skills.
