The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of primary partner relationships from C-level down to sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Be accountable to a unit and business growth.
  • Build engaging, data-driven GTM plans leveraging internal and third-party data and translate it into strategies for the Partners.
  • Identify, pitch and execute projects. Overcome obstacles or problems without damaging relationships.
  • Manage purchase and promotion agreements, and new and end-of-life offers along with driving business performance through business planning and forecasting.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 year experience in mobile phone sales and telecommunications (telco) account management, or equivalent experience at local telcos managing consumer device business.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to interact with partners in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leveraging data-driven frameworks to solve business challenges, including forecasting, business term forming and negotiation, consumer offer planning leveraging telco subsidy, and rebate planning.
  • Experience in ecosystem hardware products sales (wearable devices, charging and other mobile phone related accessories), telco value-added services, cloud solutions.
  • Experience establishing "trusted advisor" status with C-suite executives and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in enterprise device sales.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of work streams in a fluid environment, and navigating ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail and meeting execution timelines.
