In this role, you will build and develop Gemini Cloud Assist, a Google Cloud AI-powered cloud management product portfolio that transforms the experience of customers across all surfaces from learn, design, deploy, operate, investigate and optimize their applications, workloads and services. You will work in the rapidly evolving AI space with newer and powerful models, agent frameworks, protocols, and security while collaborating across Google Cloud and Google DeepMind teams.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Identify and prove the value of new GenAI features and solutions to advance the value of cloud assist.
  • Lead initiatives on agentic framework, tooling, quality techniques to help scale multi-modal intent Design coverage across first-party and third-party services and workloads.
  • Drive exploratory analysis of state of the modeling techniques, user engagement behaviors and product performance to discover important trends, product opportunities, and GCA Design quality gaps.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  • 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • Experience with Applied AI, ML Infrastructure, ML or AI for products, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
