With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and implementation of solutions enabling malware reverse engineering at scale. Provide leadership across multiple groups, influencing plans and designs. Provide guidance and mentoring to a team of engineers.
  • Drive engineering, operational, and project execution excellence, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders to define a long-term product vision and technology roadmap.
  • Partner with teams throughout Google to streamline and grow reverse engineering capabilities and impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
  • Promote leveraging AI in solutions and engineering practices.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
