Job Description The Construction Program Office Manager - PMO is responsible for Central Project Management Office (PMO) to integrate and lead the Project Management activities and provide PMO services at multiple facilities supporting Fab Construction staff level reporting to the Senior Director.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Integrating multiple site programs (tool install, progressive build, etc.) by ensuring they all align to site vision, have scope clarity across phases as well as key dependencies and critical paths are identified and comprehended

• Own and prepare the Senior Director with various required program planning documents such as Project Execution Plans

• Facilitate key meetings such as customer alignment meeting, Program ratification committee (PRC), Alignment and Integration Meeting (AIM) and Operational/extended staff meetings, etc.

• Responsible for the design and set up of the site governance (policies, procedures, etc.) and accountable to ensure that Site Operations adhere to outlined requirements

• Drive the construction cadence and pace needed for Site operations business success at multiple sites

• Own program integration key indicators, report and status for various Construction meetings (Site Ops reviews, major project reviews, etc.). Ensure each program and/or site is compliant with requirements

• Collect, synthesize and analyze project data and information to enable program transparency and appropriate decision making at all levels of the team. Be able to use the data to understand the problem and provide recommended solutions to the teams and Senior Director

• Own overall communication management plan, which includes operational updates to the org

• Drive integration in communication and execution such as change management, Risk management

• Drive Continuous improvement (Tools, processes, Mode of Operation (MOO), BI (business intelligence)

• Support ad hoc activities Senior Director and Construction staff

Additional Scope Works on high budget programs and projects with scope consisting of factory and technology development (TD) new builds, tool install factory conversions and progressive build ongoing renovations and tooling. Participates in the formulation of the Intel strategic long-range planning (LRP) roadmap in close partnership with our manufacturing strategic planning group. Ensures appropriate construction decision timing models and what-if analysis are incorporated into the LRP.

Develops and reports key construction metrics to manage program health including project quality and timelines. Collaborates with teams to perform troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis onsite. Builds strong integration with Intel's primary construction partner groups (TD, Factory Management, Estimating Team, Construction Finance, Supply Chain, Strategic Planning Org, Factory teams).

Ensures teams are executing the contracting strategy, project scope, schedules, approval requirements, project budgets, quality and change controls, and timeline of project approval requirements. Establishes and ensures teams manage changes via change control and trend processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field with the relevant experience.  

7+ years construction industry project management or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

5+ years of PMO experience in addition to construction PM, PMI PMP certified, portfolio management knowledge. 

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $166,420.00-234,950.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
