As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Google is seeking a dynamic professional to lead all aspects of supply chain readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) within our global data centers. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams from inception to volume ramp to deploy innovative products efficiently. You will demonstrate domain expertise in material readiness, clear to build (CTB), supplier and manufacturer management, procurement, and supply resiliency. You will be responsible for executing materials plans, enabling prototype builds, and driving production ramps for Networking, Infrastructure, Server, and Storage products. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Contract Manufacturers to launch products and implement systems that scale global deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive material and supply chain readiness for all New Product Introduction (NPI) builds from concept phase to production, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure success.
  • Identify and communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds, while enabling long-term supply continuity into production.
  • Act as the primary materials liaison with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and Suppliers, manage spend against project budgets, and drive large production risk buys and buffers.
  • Develop and document a global supply chain map for each product, including suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies.
  • Update project schedules, communicate status and risks, influence change, and represent the NPI Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives and process improvements to enhance scalability.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience across all phases of a product from prototype to mass production to end of life.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
