The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define requirements and identify technologies for scaling our transport network in a cost-efficient and operationally streamlined manner.
- Engage with external vendors and internal teams to operationalize stable, scalable platforms.
- Develop and execute test plans for optical systems.
- Automate test infrastructure to qualify and introduce new products into our production network.
- Develop tools and processes for automation of network management and operations.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as optical transceivers, optical metro, or long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with network equipment manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
- Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).
