Be a driving team in Google’s journey towards a circular economy to support global data center operations. As the Circular Economy Program Manager, you will lead the charge in minimizing waste, maximizing resource recovery, and achieving true zero waste and circularity. This role blends innovation with planning, demanding both a passion for sustainability and a high degree of operational excellence. Unlike traditional investigative roles, this position focuses on the "how" and “why” of circularity bridging the gap between ambitious sustainability goals, day-to-day operations, and the various stakeholders. You will act as an advocate for circularity, collaborating with data center teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions. From optimizing global standards to building business partnerships, you will be responsible for translating Google's Circular Economy goals into tangible actions and a compelling narrative of progress.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of circularity initiatives, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into global supply chain and data center operations.
  • Lead the strategy for sustainable inventory and logistic management, identifying opportunities to eliminate single-use materials, optimize recovery, and transition to reusable or recyclable alternatives.
  • Design and deploy site-specific waste management workflows that prioritize resource recovery and operational efficiency.
  • Foster and manage partnerships with recycling vendors and logistics providers to create innovative closed-loop systems.
  • Translate operational data into powerful narratives that demonstrate the impact of circularity initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with circular economy principles in a supply chain.
  • Experience working with supply chains in data centers, manufacturing, or warehouse logistics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in change management, helping large organizations adopt new processes or sustainability standards (Lean or Six Sigma training).
  • Experience with global recycling infrastructure and vendor landscape for various waste streams.
  • Experience with process mapping to identify and remove bottlenecks in circular material flows.
