Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with the mobile franchisees in Japan and oversee the management of franchisees managed by the field sales vendor.
  • Plan go-to-market and promotion executions, resolve issues, analyze and track key metrics to identify trends.
  • Create templates and set direction for the franchisee channel designed to exceed business volume and goals of Google hardware.
  • Negotiate business programs and goals, and clarify issues with attention to detail.
  • Apply problem-solving skills regarding technical and financial issues with partners, Influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels of management.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in selling in carrier retail environments.
  • Experience working autonomously in a fluid and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work across functions and geographies, as well as lead a non-hierarchical, multi-country, cross-functional team.
