Job Description: 

The Role and Impact The intern will contribute to the development of automation and AI solutions for package failure analysis by supporting automation scripting, AI model development for defect detection, and preparation of inspection datasets such as CSAM and infrared laser scanning confocal images. Responsibilities include assisting with model training, validation, benchmarking against manual analysis, and documenting workflows and results while collaborating with crossfunctional engineering teams and adhering to safety and data governance requirements. The impact of this role is improved analysis efficiency, reduced manual inspection time, increased inspection throughput, enhanced consistency and traceability of defect detection, and scalable failure analysis capabilities that reduce dependency on manual effort and support faster decisionmaking

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, a cross-disciplinary blend of Materials Science, Computer Science or a related field. -Proficiency in data analysis tools or programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar. -Familiarity with AI, automation, or failure analysis methodologies. -Strong attention to detail and aptitude for problem-solving
