Field Sales Representative, Public Sector, Google Cloud

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) for Public Sector, you will be working with our Public Sector accounts related to different public entities across Kentucky and West Virginia. You will leverage experience engaging with executives to build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and act as a business partner to understand our customer's needs and goals. You will advocate the innovative power of our products and solutions to make public organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for state, local, and education accounts within region.
- Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer needs, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, discussing agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Leverage an understanding of Public Sector needs and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for their digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical Specialists and Customer Success Managers, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud, software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
- Experience working with the public sector market, including government, state, municipalities, education entities across the region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience offering infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
- Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Experience with commercial and legal agreements working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams in large enterprises.
- Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
