Job Description: 

Note: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.

  • Defines roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for incoming technology transfer.
  • Defines and establishes flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
  • Extracts insights from structured and unstructured data by quickly synthesizing large volumes of data, and applying statistics and machine learning, and may using coding techniques (e.g. SQL, python, etc.) primarily, but could also include programming languages (i.e. .net).
  • Owns sustaining and continuous improvement of quality and integrated defect and parametric measurements in startup and high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Drives low yield analysis and yield improvement activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures continuous improvement programs are in place to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions.
  • Performs quality and reliability risk assessments for potentially discrepant manufacturing material as well as for process changes.
  • As a senior principal engineer, recognized as a domain expert who sets, influences, and drives technical direction across Intel and industry.
  • Develops and mentors others, grows the technical community, acts as a change agent, and role models Intel values.
  • Aligns organizational goals with technical vision, formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions, and demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor, or MS in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information System or Chemistry/Physics or any engineering degree. At least 5 years of Assembly and Test or semiconductor process experience and basic scripting.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed to learn and find sources of knowledge and information required to perform work.
  • Must have demonstrated track-record of proficiency in working in a high-performing team culture which includes excellent teamwork and leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated problem solving and the ability to prioritize work in an ambiguous environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate demonstrates effective problem solving and leadership. Must be seen as a technical expert, process/systems oriented, has proven ability for critical thinking.
  • Experience with using Model based problem solving and data analytics to solve integrated issues.
  • In depth knowledge of assembly data from process and metrology tools and experience extracting and analyzing the data.
  • Able to identify and define solutions to mitigate start up risks, report-outs, and investigation of issues to determine root cause and solutions.
  • Ability to understand how to effectively communicate data at multiple levels of organization from new hire to senior managers, while deeply appreciating the tactical conditions facing their customers.
  • Able to devise standard and sustainable solutions that are directly aligned to start up and sustaining business needs and ensure information is generated correctly.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. Lead and influence change across multiple departments.
  • High tolerance to ambiguity and flexibility with respect to job roles and working hours.
