Role Purpose

Virtual Account Executive (VAE) is responsible for driving GIGA School and School DX projects across municipal and prefectural Boards of Education, as well as Local Government Network Strengthening projects and Network & Security enhancement projects for hospitals with over 300 beds nationwide. By leveraging guidelines from MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications), and MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare), you will formulate strategic sales scenarios and collaborate with Public and Wide-area sales teams to achieve broad and rapid market coverage. Utilizing remote and digital tools—while conducting face-to-face negotiations when necessary—you will work closely with partners (SPs, local SIers, and Distributors) to generate new pipeline (white space), secure renewals, and drive cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management: Execute data-driven targeting and continuous remote coverage for an assigned wide-area territory, encompassing hundreds of Boards of Education, local governments, and hospitals.

Platform-based Sales: Move beyond single-product network proposals to drive cross-selling by integrating Security, Observability, and other platform solutions.

Partner Collaboration: Partner closely with local partner sales representatives remotely to establish mechanisms that accelerate and automate the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
