The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing products to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.

As a part of the YouTube Shopping team, you will be at the forefront of this shift, connecting viewers to products they’ll love through the creators that they trust as shopping is one of YouTube’s top priorities and represents a systemic shift in the platform: giving creators new ways to monetize, viewers a new way to engage with the creators they love, and retailers a new sales channel to build their businesses.

And, it's working: People watch over 30 billion hours of shopping-related videos on YouTube in a year. You will partner with global retailers, brands, and e-commerce platforms.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $124000 - $177000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive hypothesis-driven business strategy for YouTube Shopping across users, merchants and creators.
  • Analyze competitive GTM strategies and build robust GTM plans across shopping's business models.
  • Advance operational excellence, including setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and driving annual business planning, while owning program management and tracking for key programs.
  • Define and shape GTM plans, execute CommDocs, lead experiments/Trusted Tester programs, quarterly forecasting.
  • Partner seamlessly with Regional GTM team and the Product Management team to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals, while also leading cross­-functional projects working with broad stakeholder set.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in go-to-market, business strategy, corporate planning, product marketing, category management, program management, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the e-commerce industry.
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced, self-starting environment.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally, orally) and influence effectively, including strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior audiences.
  • Excellent spreadsheet modeling and presentation skills.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.
  • Strong business sense with strategic thinking and distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills (eg: SQL).
