Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions Center, South DivisionPosition Summary

The Senior Vice President Customer Solutions Center, South LAC, is responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction, prioritization, and performance of Mastercard’s product portfolio across all markets at scope, including Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru. This role ensures that product investments, development priorities, and go-to-market initiatives are closely aligned with divisional business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities. Acting as the primary bridge between Regional Product teams and local market organizations, the role drives the integration and commercialization of Core Products, Digital Payments, Acceptance and Gateway, while fostering a customer-centric, data-driven approach to growth. As a key member of both the Division and Regional leadership teams, this leader is accountable for delivering sustainable business results, accelerating innovation, and maximizing the value of Mastercard’s products and capabilities across the South Division.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Products & Solutions agenda across the South Division, driving revenue growth, business performance and market relevance.
  • Own the Divisional product strategy, portfolio prioritization and execution roadmap across Core Products, Digital Payments, Acceptance and Gateway, ensuring alignment with Regional and Global priorities while addressing local market needs.
  • Serve as the primary market integration lead, coordinating Product, Expert Sales, Customer Delivery, Marketing, Advisors and Account Management teams to deliver a cohesive Products & Solutions strategy.
  • Ensure product investments, development priorities and go-to-market initiatives are aligned with divisional business objectives, customer opportunities and market dynamics.
  • Partner with Regional Product teams and local market leadership to define and execute market-specific growth plans that reflect the unique needs of the markets at scope.
  • Establish and monitor divisional revenue targets, strategic objectives, resource allocation and investment priorities across the Products & Solutions portfolio.
  • Lead the identification of market opportunities through competitive intelligence, consumer insights, transaction behavior analysis, portfolio analytics and emerging industry trends.
  • Drive product adoption and commercialization efforts by partnering closely with Sales and Customer Delivery teams to support pipeline development, client engagement and tailored solution deployment.
  • Monitor product and platform performance against financial, commercial and strategic targets, ensuring accountability and continuous optimization.
  • Champion the voice of the consumer, integrating consumer insights and Mastercard capabilities into differentiated value propositions that drive customer and consumer outcomes.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to divisional product teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance across markets.
All About You
  • Extensive leadership and general management experience with a demonstrated ability to define strategic direction, influence stakeholders and drive business results across multiple markets.
  • Strong experience in product strategy, portfolio management and commercialization within payments, financial services or related industries.
  • Proven ability to translate business priorities, customer needs and market insights into product strategies and investment decisions.
  • Experience managing P&L, business performance and growth initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and customer-centric mindset with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of consumer trends, payment ecosystems, market dynamics and competitive landscapes across Latin America.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global, regional and local teams.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • High energy, learning agility and a demonstrated ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience working across Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Peru, with an appreciation for the distinct market dynamics and growth opportunities within the South Division.
