As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The team manages the global delivery of on-net and off-net network infrastructure critical to the delivery of services.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and undertake holistic data analysis (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, impact analysis) to land the business recommendations which ensure that we continue to deliver infrastructure with optimal economics.
  • Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information. Develop and automate reports, and build and prototype dashboards to provide insights solving.
  • Coordinate the design, testing, and implementation of web application automation workflows which transform the velocity and quality with which Google interacts with interconnect partners around the world.
  • Lead the life-cycle of edge capacity delivery, combining border gateway protocol (BGP) routing, content delivery network (CDN), and peering ecosystem knowledge (e.g., ordering, delivery, and troubleshooting of fiber cross-connects) with data-driven traffic analysis to forge partnerships and optimize global network resilience.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in the peering and interconnection ecosystem.
  • Experience in network capacity, supply chain planning, or new product introduction.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in the delivery of edge peering capacity (e.g., fiber cross-connects), CDN planning, and the use of data-driven traffic analysis to optimize network resilience and ISP partnerships.
  • Experience with Python, data modeling, dashboards, SQL, or AI platforms.
